Large 8.5x12.5" display card contains complete set of three pieces of goggles, belt and wrist compass by Esquire Novelty Co. copyright 1951. Display card features portrait of Flash plus illustrations of rocketships and planets. Card has a few lt. scattered edge creases but is Fine. Goggles have plastic frame w/rw elastic head strap and thin plastic lenses. Inside surface of each lens originally had reflective silver coloring but nearly all of this has disappeared. Goggles are collapsible at the center hinge although one of the hinge loops is missing a small piece of plastic, however, this is not noticeable as attached to the card. The belt is vinyl w/illustrations of Flash, spaceships and planets and large buckle is plastic w/high relief rocketship surrounded by shooting stars. Wrist compass has straps that match the belt design while at center is plastic attachment w/relief design featuring Lone Ranger attachment as produced-a factory mix-up or they ran out of Flash Gordon attachments that day. Compass straps are still held to card by original pair of staples. As attached to card, set looks unused and Exc.
