Item Description
First is 6x6" on slightly textured paper dated for Christmas 1936. Front features small full color illustration of Sandy jumping through Christmas wreath held by Annie. Card opens to choice full color illustration of Annie flying sleigh w/word balloon reading "A Right Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year To You-All From We-Uns." Sleigh is pulled by 6 flying Sandys, all of which reply "Arf!" Card includes the Grays' Baltimore, MD. address. Tack hole only visible on inside, otherwise item is VF. Next is 3.25x5.5" w/art on front of Annie saying "Here's Wishin' You A Merry Christmas And We're Hopin' Your 1945 Is Lots Happier Than 1944-3-2-Etc. Etc. Etc...Eh, Sandy?" Sandy replies "Arf!" Text below image reads "Annie And Sandy/Winnifred And Harold Gray/Green's Farms Connecticut." Repeated vertical ink marks from postal cancellation. Reverse has a 1944 Christmas Seal is attached. Addressed in ink. Aging to paper lt. handling wear and a tack hole at top of art. Fine.
