Annie is depicted reading a book, which she holds in her lap, to Sandy. 1930s w/Famous Artists Syndicate copyright on back, "Made In Japan" on underside. Next is smaller version 2.75" tall with copyright on front. Next is same as first example with text "Kingston" on front. Last version is 1940s marked on bottom "Made In Occupied Japan". Annie has green dress with red polka dots and Sandy is white with black spots. Backside marked "Little Orphan Annie". This version has a small chip on underside inside edge of base, doesn't affect appearance at all. All items have lt. wear and are overall VF. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
