Auction #182 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1499 in auction 182
Item Description
This .75" piece is made of amber glass like item #176 although not quite as bright as light does not show through it due to its being set into a mint luster brass frame. Item served either as a lapel stud or part of a cufflink set as the circular stud back is hinged to fold to one side for ease of inserting into a buttonhole. Features beautifully detailed very high relief glass portrait of Cleveland. Amost certainly 1888. Rare and essentially Mint. Rare.
