Five items. First Monarch item is silvered brass ashtray 3.5x6" from early 1900s with company logo at center. Text on raised edges reads "Two Gold Medals. Portland, Ore. 1905/Malleable Iron Range Co. Beaver Dam, Wis." Recessed area has lost silvering. Maker's name Schwaab S & S. Co. Milwaukee on underside. Next is ornate brass spoon 6.25" long with logo in recessed circular bowl. Early 1900s and Exc. Next are pair of 4.75" dia. brass ashtrays with embossed designs at center. One reads "Three Generations of Cooking Progress" with center text "1896/Monarch/Paramount/Ranges". Small rim dent and minor wear. The other has overlapping logos dated 1896 and 1946 to mark 50th anniversary. Minor tarnish. Last is triangular solid brass trivet on small feet and measuring 5.5" on each side. Top carries name "American Luxfer Prism Co." and city names on each tip of New York (worn text), Boston, Chicago. This was a famous Chicago company that created glass prisms to direct natural light into dark areas of rooms. Two of Frank Lloyd Wright's early clients were among the company founders and he personally designed and patented a series of "Iridian" prism tiles for the company. Fine and rare.
