Item Description
All are c. 1920s-1930s chrome plated formed metal. Sizes range from 2" tall to 3.5" tall. Text on front of three tall varieties reads "Thrift Pays Dividends". All have open slot design to measure savings as you go. Issued by various regional banks and each is either stamped or has name plate. Banks include Brooklyn Savings, Hamburg, Middletown, Bay Shore Federal, Berks County Trust, Provident, Excelsior. Tall varieties are made by Bankers Utility Co. and oval banks are made by Automatic Recording Safes Co. Finish on some shows aging but will polish out if desired. Fine overall.
