Item Description
Each is approx. 3-3/8x5-3/8" c. early 1900s. One has image of "Madame Vera Bassie World Renowned Palmist & Clairvoyant" seated in beach chair in front of tiny cottage which has hand painted text including "Try My Herbal Remedies" with phrenology poster at rear. A second card shows apparent gypsy family in front of building with woman seated in foreground at cash register and large signs on background walls "Palmist Tunisienne Haytcha" with images of palms on all three signs. First card has tiny bit of missing surface paper on reverse side, second card has barely noticeable tiny color rubs at bottom corner tips and barely noticeable tiny number "20" in ink at upper right corner. Image areas are Fine/VF. Postally unused. Both are scarce. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
