Item Description
19" tall Superman and 16" tall Lois Lane in porcelain. Matched pair of figures both hand signed on back of doll "Robert Tonner Trademark and ©DC Comics 1997" and "#135/500". Dolls are hand-painted with rooted hair, fabric costumes, suede and leather shoes/boots, and real seamed stockings on Lois. Based on the comic book art of Curt Swan and Wayne Boring. Figures are loose without boxes or tags. NM. Originally issued at up to $495 each. The highest quality of craft and materials was used for each figure.
