9x12" issue #21 of "Gentry" winter 1956/57 with 152 pages which focuses on art and style includes a stiff paper color portfolio with five lithographs for Matisse "Jazz" series. Issue also includes T.S. Sullivant cartoons, and NYC photos by Burden. 11x14.5" issue #40 of "American Fabrics" for spring 1957 contains 72 pages with wrap around Matisse cover from his jazz series. Contents include actual swatches of fabric including 11 page "Matisse: Portfolio Of Creative Inspiration" section. Covers of both issues have lt. handling wear with a few color rubs. VG. Contents mostly VF/Exc. Superb high quality printing.
