Item Description
4x6.25" mailer has Ripley's text at upper left with space for address at lower right. Wear around edges with tiny tears and a few moisture marks. VG. Contains 3.25x5.5" descriptive folder with six pages detailing 20 different subjects in the exhibit. Set of 12 postcards are each 3.25x5.5" published by J.D. Moreno & Co. Chicago. First card is full color image of exhibit from outside with large crowd waiting to get in, rest of cards are bw and some have two or three photographs. Includes facial contortionist Robert Everhart resembling Popeye, three year old Betty Williams who has four legs and three arms, Orpha Ensign and Roy Bard the Ossified Man and Woman, Martin Laurello with his head turned completely backwards on his shoulders. Set has slight aging but unused and NM. Classic images of human oddities.
