Item Description
26.5x35" high quality wood frame has double archival mat with 15.75x23" opening revealing superb gouache original illustration of woman in maid's uniform of the period. Art is signed in ink at lower right "Relyea". Margin edges have bit of foxing, otherwise image area itself is clean. VF. Charles Relyea (1863-1932) was well known for his calendar art featuring Indian maidens and glamorous women.
