Item Description
1960s hand painted. One in a series of travel agent counter displays. This is larger size of 12.75" long 8.5" tall elephant with satin blanket with "Air-India" name on each side. Top has hole for 5" tall seated Maharaja-type with braided wire in back for 2.5" tall "Air-India" umbrella with fringes. Made in Bombay by Bandivdekar Compaper Crafts. Blanket is missing two tassels in back, professional touch-ups to a few tiny chips. Displays VF/Exc. Wonderful design and great for display.
