1956 promoting tie in with Broadway musical. 32x34.5" tall overall cardboard including large graphics of open White Owl box with text "That Wonderful 10¢ Cigar" has dimensional image of happy man in three piece suit at left attached on back to main portion of sign. His right leg has text "Now Playing Imperial Theatre New York". Right side of sign has applied die-cut of package of five cigars. Sign has easel back for floor or store counter. Figure has creases on both arms and one finger that have been reinforced on reverse w/clear tape. Cigar in mouth was broken off and has been reattached w/glue. Sign corners have lt. dents, still displays bright and Fine. Construction makes this sign rare to have survived. The Frank Loesser musical about a romance between a younger woman and older man ran on Broadway for fourteen months and had several revivals. Impressive size for display.
