Item Description
Made by Pace. 9.5x12x11.25" tall overall designed with gumball feature to make it "legal" at the time. Has patriotic design of stars and stripes on front. Design is similar to slot machine but has five windows with alphabet letters. Directions on front have cartoon of heavy set German man holding stein filled with foamy beer. Directions include: "Insert Coin, Press Handle, When Word Beer Is Spelled Out At Indicator Line, Player Receives Number Of Steins Of Beer As Shown On First Reel." Although designed for nickels, works with pennies as well. Gumballs at upper left of front in window are original. Small door in back is gumball compartment for restocking. The ones in window are permanent for display and not meant to be dispensed. Comes with key. Scattered wear with some aging. Fine overall. Works. Nice for display or use.
