Item Description
This unlisted piece is 2x2.5" tall with NM luster brass frame surrounding beautiful sepia depiction of an apparent oil painting. TR, with sword drawn, leads his men and charging horses towards the Spanish enemy. The text quoted in our title appears as extremely tiny type along the bottom edge of the simulated dust clouds being kicked up by the horses' hooves. Reverse of the piece has a brass plate with fixed horizontal bar pin. Small bit of luster and a couple of tiny oxidation dots on the reverse but the front is NM and the celluloid is flawless. Likely issued for the 1904 campaign. Rare.
