Item Description
1.5" tall with brilliant luster brass frame featuring floral design surrounding oval photographic paper without dot pattern showing sharp clear images of the candidates. While in most circumstances the piece displays Mint, in reflected light there is a .5" hairline scratch running from Hughes's eye at left down towards the bottom of the oval surrounding. In addition a second scratch goes from the top of his necktie to the right ending at the bottom edge of the oval surrounding Fairbanks. While the scratches are certainly deep enough to show in reflected light they are not deep enough to disturb any of the coloration of the photograph and we do emphasize in most positions they show little if at all. The piece still displays essentially Mint. This item has a Hake 2005 Revised Price value of $750 but opens much lower.
