Item Description
Each is 3" to 4" tall each with a metal frame bar pin that has inserted card reading "Delegate" at top. These pieces were issued every two years and this is complete run from 1950 through 1962 with a duplicate of the 1962 badge. Badges for 1958 and 1960 have die-cut metal hanger in the shape of the state and picturing the symbolic elephant. The one for 1960 includes 7/8" litho tin "Nixon/Lodge" jugate. The other six badges all feature a design against a brilliant gold or silver foil background. These are extremely impressive designs. All include the symbolic elephant posed in some way with the outline of the state. The highlight of the group is the example from 1954 which has large blue tone photo of Eisenhower. There is a little roughness to the blue ribbon on the 1952 badge but the other seven pieces are essentially Mint. A very striking group of limited issue badges.
