Item Description
18.75x23" sign advertising set of three die-cut stiff paper masks issued by Northern Paper Mills in 1933. Mask images are shown at actual size, each about 7x9" and include Tarzan, Akut the ape, Numa the lion. This is a folded as issued window sign. Top and bottom margin edges had .75" strips of adhesive but this has been trimmed. Color rubs along fold lines. Upper right has 6" diagonal tear repaired on reverse side with cellophane tape. Technically VG, but bright and bold color and would frame nicely. One of the most graphic and impressive Tarzan promotional items. Rare. One of only a few known examples. See set of these masks #2714.
