Item Description
3.5" button with additional text "For Poor Power" and with the first few words of King's famous quotation "I Have A Dream..." Planning for the Poor Peoples campaign began in Nov., 1967. By the time of the event which began May 12, 1968, King had been assassinated although the leaders of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and others had decided to go ahead with the campaign in King's honor. A NM example displaying Mint. Scarce and seldom found this clean.
