Item Description
Each is copyright 1995 published by Gentle Winds Ltd. First is 22x27" No."23/650". Second is 22x34" artist's proof. Each is signed in lead pencil "Paul S. Newman". First poster is titled "The Legend Lives On" with multiple images from Lone Ranger comic strips by Charles Flanders. Second has large panel image of Lone Ranger on Silver by Flanders. Each has "The Lone Ranger" logo with mask and rope border. Paul S. Newman (1924-1999) was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most prolific comic book writer in history. Beginning in 1947 he wrote more than 4100 stories totaling some 36,000 pages. He eventually wrote for more than 350 comic book titles and was a long time writer on the Lone Ranger comic strip.
