Item Description
Five items. 7.25x10.25" hardcover "James Arness An Autobiography" first edition copyright 2001 is boldly signed on title page in Sharpie pen "To Wesley, Regards, James Arness". 238 pages published by McFarland & Company. Book has forward by Burt Reynolds and includes numerous photos of Arness throughout his career. Covers have a few minor scuffs, otherwise book is NM. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA. Fan club publications are each 8.5x11" with mimeographed pages. First three are titled "The Official James Arness Fan Club". Fourth is titled "Gunsmoke Signals Official Publication Of The Gunsmoke Trilogy". All include a few glossy publicity photos glued in. All have much news of the Gunsmoke cast and crew written during the time it was on the air. A few lt. handling creases, but overall group is Fine/VF. Extremely limited distribution. A comprehensive James Arness lot.
