Item Description
8x10" glossy of Brennan in western gear standing next to horse has bold ink signature "To Jerry Best Wishes Always Walter Brennan" in center. He has added "Will Sonnett 1968" at lower left clear area. Moderate handling wear mostly just visible in reflected light. Fine. Walter Brennan (1894-1974) is the only actor to have won three Oscars for best supporting actor. He became a film extra in 1923 and won his Oscars in the 1930s. He gained fame on television with "The Real McCoys" in the 1950s. He played an ex-army scout in the Will Sonnet series. He also had a top five hit with "Old Rivers" which spent 11 weeks on the Billboard charts in 1962. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
