Item Description
Die-cut cardboard display has flattened size of 14x26" and is designed to be assembled as a counter display unit. Promotes 1941 premium offered by Quaker Puffed Wheat & Rice Sparkies. At center is illustration of assembled cockpit plus "How To Fly" booklet that came as part of the premium. Captain Sparks image at top left corner in airplane, at right are inset cereal boxes, bottom has die-cut design of boy using cockpit while girl reads book. When assembled, display was designed as holder for order blank coupons. Tiniest trace of aging and extreme margin wear. Still unused and Exc. The nicest of the few examples of this rare display that we have offered in our 46 years. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
