Item Description
13x19" art sheet overlaid by thin tissue sheet w/original art layout design and lettering in combination of crayon, color inks plus accent on three inscriptions in white ink resembling typewriter correction fluid. Design includes sketch of five proposed models plus the large central model in greater definition. Early 1940s for proposed 1941-1942 premiums by Quaker Puffed Wheat Sparkies. Inking of the white letters has numerous but small rub spots on word "Free" and inscription "Quaker Puffed Wheat." Tissue sheet is lapped over to back side at top and bottom and then secured by brown glue. Colorful and VF. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
