Item Description
This piece is 8.5" tall with a brass bar plate hand engraved with the name "Joseph Harris." Below on the purple fabric is a clasp in the shape of three rings with a loop suspending a hand engraved six point star. Center of this shows a tent with eyeball above pair of staffs at each side and date of 1873 below. Surrounding text reads "Encampment Drill Association/Baltimore." Ribbon has lost a little bit of its purple knap but there are no tears. Fringe is somewhat worn but still largely intact. An exceptionally, early fraternal piece.
