Item Description
1.5" with nail file blade that folds out along with knife blade although about a 3/16" front tip of blade is snapped off. Blades show some tarnish but the sides of the knife itself remain quite clean with just a little general all over wear and an extremely faintly scratched in name on the background to the left of Dan reading "Henry Nevson." This really shows just on quite close inspection. Great detailed images of the horses with one side reading "Dan Patch 1.55/M.W. Savage Owner." Opposite side reads "International 1.55 Horse Breeding Farm/Dazzle Patch." Dazzle Patch was intended to be the son that would succeed his famous father. While he was on occasions extremely fast he never reached the level of greatness achieved by Dan Patch. Also see early Prospect Park Director's badge showing race horse #649.
