Item Description
1.75" with union bug back stamp. The team had its origins in the late 1920s in Chicago but this button is from the 1940s, and perhaps even 1948-1949 when the Globetrotters beat the leading professional team The Minneapolis Lakers two years in a row. Our photo shows pinpoint spot on background but that has been removed and the button displays totally clean and glossy. Earliest, and the only example, we've seen for this famous African-American team. See following related item.
