Item Description
These range from 7.5" to 10.5" tall. Five include celluloid on the bar pin and all six feature beautiful color suspended celluloid in a brass rim. These are from the early 1900s with the exception of the last. In order these are from the groups Daughters of America, Sons and Daughters of Liberty (from Walkersville, MD.), Sons of Hermann (text on the piece is in German with exception of town name Davenport, IA.), Junior Order United American Mechanics (from Cecilton, MD.), Redman's Lodge women's division Daughters of Pocahontas (from Chincoteague, VA., see item #862), Southeast Missouri Drummers Association (from De Soto, Mo 1925). The last five pieces in the group have finished reverses in silver on black used for funerals of deceased members. Gorgeous items, emblematic of a past phase of American life.
