Item Description
First is beautiful 7/8" button with W&H backpaper and front reading "Kentucky State Fair/Owensboro, Sep. 21-26-'03." Great color portrait of race horse accented by small horseshoe. Next is 4.5" tall ribbon badge with text on ribbon "Our Guest/Louisville, Ky./May, 1897." Double sided suspended celluloid is 1.75" showing early homestead with musical bar above and tiny text "The Sun Shines Bright In The Old Kentucky Home." Reverse shows pair of clasping hands with text "Improved Order Heptasophs." Reverse names maker W&H. Both pieces are NM. Morry Greener Collection.
