Item Description
First is 11/16" with celluloid insert in brass frame on 1-3/8" stickpin. One of the very few "pro" as opposed to "anti" Boer items we've seen. Second is 1-3/8" English ornate button with text "Daily Telegraph Fund/To Aide The Widows & Orphans/Of England's Fallen Heroes." Edge text reads "Bayswater, Paddington & North Kensington Carnival July 12 & 13/1900." Trivial shallow dent upper left. Both display Mint. See rare St. Louis expo button #814 picturing Gen. Cronje.
