Auction #205 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1426 in auction 205
Item Description
Silvered links hold 1.5" wide slightly convex center piece made from a partially rolled silver French coin with female figure still visible on the underside. Top of the coin has been hand engraved with very nice depiction of bi-wing airplane at center. Surrounding text reads "1st Sgt. O'Ferguson/Air Service/A.E.F. France." There are three additional pieces on the chain. One of these is a quite worn German coin "Five Pfennig/1875." A tiny 7/16" piece has portrait of Joan of Arc with her home shown on the reverse and most interesting is a die-cut metal piece in the shape of a Hebrew letter. NM and unique.
