2.25" tall. Top bar reads "Wm. Thomas" hand engraved. Lower piece with eagle, flags, and shield has stamped inscription "Pro Patria/Et/Pro Pace/Universa/1919." Reverse of bar is marked "10K" along with name of "Salt Lake" maker "E.J. Leiff." The suspended piece has hand engraving "Presented/To/One Who Enlisted/From The/U S Fuel Co/By His/Fellow Workmen." The piece weighs 8.7 pennyweight. Unique and NM.
