Item Description
This is the largest Australian made button we've ever seen. Reverse has concave metal back with horizontal bar pin and stamp of country's most famous button maker A.W. Patrick. Button front around center has trio of 1/16" or less barely noticeable hairline cracks in the cello surface but piece displays totally clean. Outer edge reads "See Australia First/Start With Victoria." Text within the circle reads "Visit Of American Fleet/Melbourne/Victoria - Australia/Reso Train No.9/July 29-31/1925/Lt. Commr. H.A. Garrison." First we've seen and NM displaying Mint.
