Item Description
c. 1928-1929. Published by Reilly & Lee. 7.5x9.75x.5" deep cardboard box contains three soft cover books, each 7.25x9-3/8". Each has 24 pages with text story illustrated by cartoonist creator Frank King. Each has individual copyright date. Dates and titles are: 1924 "Skeezix And Uncle Walt", 1925 "Skeezix And Pal", 1926 "Skeezix At The Circus". Box lid has color rubs with some wear around edges. Lid and box bottom corners have splits, son have been repaired with cellophane tape which has yellowed with age. Box Good. Books have trace of lt. aging on inside pages otherwise clean, tight and Fine/VF. A scarce set with wonderful art throughout.
