Item Description
1-5/16" brass wing-shaped frame has litho metal insert showing flags of USA/Great Britain and USSR. At center on "V" shape are union initials "I.F.L.W.U." This labor union was founded in 1913 and for years had left-wing influences including Communists and dissident Ben Gold. The union joined the CIO, lead by John L. Lewis in 1937. After the war, during the Cold War, the CIO expelled this union and ten others accused of being Communist dominated. Rare and Mint.
