Item Description
In 1934, Tom Mix purchased a stake in the Sam B. Dill Circus and the combined venture became known as the “Sam B. Dill Circus And Tom Mix Wild West Combined.” The following year Tom bought out Dill and thus owned his aptly-named “Tom Mix Circus.” We mention that because this button is likely from 1934 given the text that reads “I Am A Member Of The Tom Mix Wild West Club.” Button has no maker’s name and no backpaper although this is as issued. The button is NM and displays Mint. The only other example known to us from the Hake Collection sold in Auction #199 for $1,162.00.
