Item Description
This is a rare and highly sought Tom Mix premium. We’ve had only two high grade condition examples and they have exceeded $3,000. We had an example only in VG in Auction #199 and that example exceeded $1,800. This example is NM. The shield and star on the ring top with text “Tom Mix Deputy” is missing some gold flashing but retains all over golden color. The ring is marked on its underside “14k White Gold.” This usually wears but on this it is 99.9% intact. The ring was issued in 1933 by National Chicle Co. and is advertised on their gum wrappers specifying 75 coupons needed to obtain the ring. The current Hake Pop Culture Guide lists values of Good - $1500; Fine - $4000; N. Mint - $7500. Among the best three we've seen.
