2.25x4.25x4.5" tall solid cast metal w/painted features. 1934 by and marked "Desmo" who also produced a larger and equally rare Mickey with Minnie hood ornament (both are featured on page 434 of Hake's Disney Guide second edition). Superb and expressive pose of Mickey w/hands on hips, wide open mouth, tail curled upward behind him. Comes w/a custom made acrylic display base that it attaches to by means of original nuts, but easily removable if desired. Moderate all over scattered paint wear but about 80% remains. Trace of aging to the metal but much bright luster remains. Fine.
