Item Description
12" long boat w/wood hull with metal top and metal strip on bottom for balance in water, tin litho Mickey figure from the waist up holding metal oars. 1930s. Comes w/original box although this has been reinforced on interior and with some restoration including photocopy applied to most of one smaller side panel and small 1x2" photocopy piece on one large panel. The other two panels are all original w/just some color touch-ups. On one large panel is complete and original label reading "Macy's Transatlantic Tunnel And Magic Carpet" w/travel route illustration. All ends flaps are missing. Box still displayable as is. Toy works and Mickey rows moving back and forth. Designed for use in water. Lt. trace of aging/wear but VF overall. This is the only time in our 46 years we have offered this rarely seen toy and this is the actual example shown in the "Official Price Guide to Disney Collectibles" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
