Auction #205 - Part II
Item numbers 1427 through 3167 in auction 205
Item Description
This group of nine items covers four different popular aviation themed radio programs. The first two read "Howie Wing Cadet" with one being a scarce 7/8" button used for Canadian members. This has a tiny rub on the very bottom edge but still displays essentially Mint. The second piece is a silvered brass wings badge. The other button in the group is 1.5" issued for the "Speed Gibson" radio program sponsored by the bread company "Stroehmann's Prize Winner." Next are two wing pins for "Capt. Hawks Sky Patrol" as one reads and with the other naming the group "Captain Frank's Air Hawks." This one is missing a little silver luster. Last are four wings all for "Jimmie Allen." These have four different sponsors which are Colonial, Richfield Hi-Octane, Hi-Speed, Skelly. At least three if not all four of these are gasoline companies. All pieces are in Exc. to Mint condition except as noted.
