Item Description
Lot of three each issued by a different Fox theater. First is 2.25x3.75" club card on card stock for Fox Hollywood Theatre of Portland, OR. Mickey image on the front, club creed on back. Signed by recipient and "Chief Mickey Mouse." Aged w/lt. corner crease. VF. Second is unused envelope for Fox Grand Lake Theatre of Oakland, CA. Mickey image showing him wearing club button. Tanned but VF. Final item is 4.25x9.25" handout on newsprint for Fox Ritz Theatre of LA, CA. One-sided w/image of Mickey plucking a flower. Text notes his 7th birthday, mentions "Free Mickey Book For Everyone" and details contest involving Mickey Post Toasties box cut-outs. Those kids bringing the most cut-outs won prizes and as listed these included sports equipments, camera, movie tickets, etc. Lt. aging, faint center crease. Fine. This dates to 1935, the other two are early 1930s. See item #2243-44 for other club items.
