9.25x12.25" issue for August 24 with "Fox Studio Library" inkstamp on front cover has front cover promoting MGM film Hollywood Revue. 64 pages include wonderful 2-page ad promoting 18 more Mickey Mouse cartoons for 1929-30. The first cartoon in this series would have been "Mickey's Follies" which came out August 28, 1929, and is about the time this magazine was issued. Other contents include small photo of Greta Garbo, double page ad for Mack Sennett first all-talking feature comedy, and back cover ad for Lloyd Hamilton talking comedies. Margins of a few inside pages have Fox Studio library inkstamps. Spine has 1" split at bottom and covers have lt. handling wear. Overall covers Fine, contents Exc. An early and historic Mickey Mouse item with extremely limited distribution, just sent to theater owners and those in the trade.
