Set of four nice quality 13x15" lithographs come in textured paper presentation folder w/snap closure. Outside of this is blank, interior has flap w/text that holds the lithos in place. This has imprint of "Center Theatre" the New York venue used for the premier w/full list of the film's credits and notes premier date of Feb. 7, 1940. Outside has moderate aging, 2" split along one edge. Inside clean. Fine. Lithos are ©1939 and images are: Geppetto putting the finishing touches on Pinocchio as Figaro and Cleo watch him; Jiminy Cricket standing atop Pinocchio's foot; Pinocchio pointing at Jiminy Cricket who sits atop Cleo's bowl and watching Cleo is Figaro; and Geppetto, Pinocchio (w/donkey ears and tail), Figaro and Cleo on a raft. Also included is glassine cover sheet w/tiny text "Lithographs Of Original Paintings Used In The Production Of Pinocchio." The Geppetto "Finishing" Pinocchio litho has lt. margin creases and .5" piece of clear tape on bottom margin. Fine. Others have lt. margin aging but clean and Exc. Exceptional set and rare premier issue.
