Item Description
"This Dollar Saved My Life At Whitehorse", exquisitely hand-decorated porcelain sculpture atop wooden base. Exceptionally large and impressive w/overall size of 11x18x13" tall. Sculpted by Enzo Arzenton. He first started producing sculptures for the Laurenz Disney Collection in 1983 and continued to do so until he retired in 1999, production on all Disney pieces then ceased. This piece was issued in 1998. This came in two editions and was to be limited to just 250 but only 136 were actually produced. Of this amount, just 15 were done for the "Another Rainbow" edition w/special plaque on back noting this and has edition number 12/15. Matching number appears on the card stock certificate folder that is also hand signed by Carl Barks on the inside. Wonderful design of Uncle Scrooge atop mound of gold coins and further surrounded by his riches as he pontificates to his captive audience of Donald Duck and his nephews. The detailing on this piece is stunning. Does not come with the original box but Mint as issued.
