Item Description
7.25x9.5" stiff cardboard album cover w/textured paper covering designed to look like leather. Front has embossed eagle image and text "Victory Club Album/Official Government Photographs." Spine has attached decorative tassel. Album contains 26 black paper sheets where the pictures were to be mounted. Comes w/complete set of 50 numbered pictures, each 6.25x8.5". Each has bluetone photo w/logo at one corner "Hi-Speed Victory Club War Album Series." Various wartime photos picture aircraft, ships, soldiers, etc. Each has been neatly mounted and in numerical order. Nice 1940s premium issue. Lt. cover wear, Fine. Pictures have trace of margin aging. Few w/lt. margin crease but all remain clean. Mostly Exc. to NM as mounted. This is listed in NSB by Watson on page 389.
