Written by George Lowther, book has four full-page color illustrations as well as bw illustrations and bw sketch illustrations throughout. Title page has been signed in person in black ballpoint pen "To Charlie and Joan - Joe Shuster" by Superman co-creator and artist Joe Shuster. Cover has a few minor color rubs but is Exc. overall with a NM signature area. Comes with 4.25x6" postcard featuring a risque illustration by Leo Nowak entitled "Sheer Beauty." Nowak was an artist who joined the Joe Shuster Studio in Sept., 1940 and remained there until early 1943, assisting with art duties on the Superman comic book stories. Signed in person in black felt tip pen at lower right corner. NM. A nice pair of signed items from two great Superman artists. Comes with Hake's COA.
