11x17" artboard with original pen and ink art for second page of Part One of the story "The UFO Connection!" that appeared in "Marvel Preview" #13 in Winter, 1978. The story was written by David Anthony Kraft with art by Herb Trimpe and inks by Klaus Janson. Janson is best known for his collaborations with Frank Miller on popular runs of "Daredevil" and the groundbreaking "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns." In the six-panel page offered here, a man and his daughter flee from a menacing alien construct that kills on sight. The artboard shows wear and typical editorial corrections and has been signed in blue ink at bottom by Janson. Fine with VF art areas. Comes with a reading copy of the magazine this art appeared in.
