Item Description
10.75x12.5x2" deep box contains size 10 outfit, consisting of "Bugs" jersey, pants, "B" baseball cap, stockings and leatherette belt. ©1947 KFS. Contents are unused and Exc. Box has nice image of Ozark Ike in baseball cap swinging bat w/his name on it. Taped at lid corners, box has scattered moisture staining and is VG. Comes with 21.5" long wooden miniature baseball bat. "Ozark Ike" name and KFS copyright text printed in black. c. late 1940s. Bat shows wear w/notches carved into it, though not greatly affecting text. VG. Ozark Ike McBatt was created by Ray Gotto during World War II. Similar to both Li'l Abner and Joe Palooka, this hillbilly character played baseball, football, basketball and boxed in the off-seasons. Scarce pair, as little merchandise was produced for this character.
