5.5" deep by 8.75" wide by 12" high bank designed like a scale w/seated baby Sparkle Plenty on top. Scale read-out area has relief portrait of Dick Tracy along w/incised text "Sparkle Plenty Savings Bank - Dick Tracy - God-Father." Left side of scale has relief portrait of Gravel Gertie and incised text "Mother - Gravel Gertie." Right side has relief portrait of B.O. Plenty w/text "Father - B.O. Plenty." Made by Jayess Co. w/Chicago Tribune copyright info incised on back. c. 1940s. Bank has some minor paint touch-ups and crazing. Chipped coin slot, but bank still displays Fine. Rare.
