Item Description
10.75" tin litho wind-up w/built-in key. Unmarked but by Marx and known as "Funny Face" although an exact likeness to Harold Lloyd. 1930s. Designed w/separate tin litho face plate and pair of arms, one of which held a small metal cane (missing though easily replaceable). Toy works and rocks back and forth as it moves about. The separate face panel moves up and down so it appears as if he is smiling. Front of red hatband has faded. Toy has overall scattered trace of aging and paint wear w/scattered paint nicks/scratches. Noticeable traces of paint wear where die-cut arms rub against body but these are covered up when arms are in place. Overall toy still has a glossy appearance. VG/Fine.
